How to Safely Detox Without Overwhelming Your Body

Let’s set the scene: you’re feeling sluggish, bloated, maybe a little inflamed, and you decide, “I’m going to detox!” You buy 47 supplements, start dry brushing aggressively, chug celery juice, and then… you feel like garbage. Headaches, nausea, mood swings, breakouts, the works.


Detox isn’t supposed to feel like a near-death experience, babe.


Here’s the truth they don’t tell you on Instagram:

If you try to “deep clean” your body without prepping your systems first, you’re basically telling your liver, kidneys, colon, lymph, and skin: “Hey girl, go fight a war with no weapons or backup. Good luck!”
